Rachel developed her communications expertise through her undergraduate degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and later as a practicing trial attorney after receiving her Juris Doctorate at Seton Hall University School of Law.
Rachel has also received professional training as a certified coach through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) and is a certified hypnotherapist via the International Association Of Counselors & Therapists (IACT).
Rachel has appeared on a multitude of media outlets and is also a frequent TEDx speaker.
PASTOR CALVIN ROBERSON, Expert | Married at First Sight
Calvin Roberson is an ordained minister and pastoral counselor. In 2009, Calvin and his wife Wendy started their couples counseling group called Married and Naked, in which the “naked” refers to his patients becoming emotionally naked and transparent.
Dangerous situations aside, Calvin believes that most marriages can be saved. Calvin and Wendy currently counsel couples and maintain a successful marriage blog.
DR. PEPPER SCHWARTZ, Expert | Married at First Sight
Dr. Pepper Schwartz is Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington. She received her B.A. and M.A, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis and her Masters of Philosophy and Ph.D. in Sociology from Yale University.
Dr. Schwartz is the author and/or co-author of 22 books, including “American Couples: Money, Work and Sex,” “The Normal Bar: The Surprising Secrets of Happy Couples,” “Dating over 50 for Dummies,” “Places for Passion: The 75 Most Romantic Places in the World,” “50 Myths about Human Sexuality” and “40 Snap Strategies for a Great Relationship.” She is also the author of over 50 academic articles on intimate relationships, marriage, love, and sex and is the national Love, Sex and Relationship Ambassador for the AARP and writes the column The Naked Truth (AARP.org /Naked Truth).
She is presently the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Ph.D in sexuality studies at the Institute for Integral Studies in San Francisco. She is also Chairperson of the Intimacy and Aging study group at Stanford University’s Center for the Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences as well as a senior fellow and board member of the Council on the Contemporary Family.
Dr. Schwartz has earned awards for excellence in education from the Washington State Women’s Forum, the American Sociological Association for Public Understanding of Sociology and the Simon and Gagnon Award for Sexuality Studies.
She currently resides in the Seattle, Washington area on a horse farm with her family.

Jessica Griffin, Psy.D. is a clinical and forensic psychologist with expertise in trauma, relationships, and high conflict divorce and has been working with couples and families for over 15 years.
